When will the event be held?
The event will run from Jan 15 to Jan 22, 2023!

Must Megumi be in a pairing in my piece?
You don’t have to force Megumi to be in a romantic relationship if you’re not comfortable with it. Megumi can be portrayed as a lone character or in a friendly / platonic relationship with another character in your work.

If I write Megumi in a pairing, does he have to be the receiving party?
Not at all! As long as Megumi is an Omega, any dynamic or position in the pairing (top / bottom / switch) doesn’t matter. If there is a pairing dynamic, we ask that you tag it accordingly to cater to those who are looking for a specific dynamic.

Can I include other ships that don’t feature Megumi?
As long as Megumi is the main focus of your piece, background ships are welcome.

Can I interchange between the SFW and NSFW prompts?
Absolutely! If you plan to use the NSFW prompts, please tag it clearly!

Is darker / dead dove content allowed?
Of course. As this week wholly focuses on omegaverse, there’s more opportunities to include dead dove content. All we ask is that you tag any and all content / trigger warnings appropriately and be clear with your tags.

What tag should I use when posting on Twitter / AO3?
We want to reach as many works in this event as possible, so use the tag #OmegaMegumiWeek on Twitter so we can retweet it! We also made a collection over on AO3 (Omega Megumi Week 2023), where you’re welcome to add your work!

Are art pieces allowed in this event?
Of course! However, with the recent policy Twitter had enforced regarding adult content, if you plan to post suggestive or NSFW fanart, please either mark it as sensitive content, or post it on a third-party site (like poipiku and privatter).

RULES

― 01
NSFW works and dead dove content will be allowed in the event, so you must be 18+ to participate. Your Twitter bio must also have your age / 18+ indicator in your bio as well.

― 02
As this event is about Megumi, the main focus must be on him. He must also have the Omega dynamic, either at the start or endgame of the piece (bitching / altering are also accepted).

All Content / Trigger Warning(s) must be clearly listed / tagged to have your work retweeted. If your work has been added to the AO3 collection with no CWs / TWs properly tagged / listed, it will be removed until they have been added.

Strictly no harassment allowed. Harassing other participants over a pairing, trope, sexual orientation, etc. during the event will not be permitted, and the harasser(s) will be blocked and banned from participating for the rest of the event.

Plagiarism is not allowed. Your work must be of your own creation. If your piece has been found to have plagiarized another existing work, it will be removed and you will be blocked and banned from participating for the rest of the event.
